The Bridge to Self-Sufficiency® program helps parents reach meaningful goals for their family. The program provides new tools to bridge the gap between dreams and success. Working with a Mobility Mentor, participants set attainable goals related to housing, family, wellness, finances, employment and career.
A Focused Approach
The Bridge to Self-Sufficiency helps identify and remove barriers out of poverty. Participants enrolled in The Bridge program are often seeking to start a new or stable career, launch a business, find ways to alleviate stress, or improve their financial circumstances and future. The program allows participants to learn to make choices and decisions that keep them focused and moving forward toward goals.
Most of the weekly lessons and activities over a 4-week period are completed in person. Participants also get a new computer and software needed to complete the online activities and future goals.
